------------------------------------Entered by: Brian Flax on Jul-10-2003 My fondest memory of Mr. Randall was his ability to make people laugh. I think there were many times that he knew we were ribbing on him but that was ok because he knew Jerot and I were having fun. He didn't know how many people wanted to be labeled the Assistant AD. Hard to believe my friend is not with me anymore. I know he worked hard for USD 208 for so many years. Bet he was smiling down on us when the girls made it to the state basketball tourney last winter. Gone but not forgotten. Class of 88' ------------------------------------Entered by: Kathy Eberle on Jan-15-2002 Wes and Elaine have done alot for WaKeeney. Wes worked hard on getting donations for the new Goldsmith Track, Custer Field Sign. He sent out letters to alumni he thought would be interested in such a project. The sign and landscaping were totally funded by donations from TCHS alumni. If you haven't seen the new lighted purple and gold sign have someone email you a picture if you live far away. Wes also worked on both bond issue committee's. I wish he could have lived to see his dreams come true with our new gymnasium. God Bless You Wes, I think of you often. ------------------------------------Entered by: Tim Edwards on Jul-27-2001 I didn't have Mr. Randall as a teacher in school but he was my boss at the swimming pool during the summer of 1962 when I was a lifeguard. He became a counselor, teacher and most of all a friend that summer. It was a great time in my life filled with memories I treasure. Thank you Mr. Randall. | |
